Salt Lake, Here We Come!
This week I’m traveling to Salt Lake City to do a session at the Utah ATD Workplace Learning and Development Conference and Expo. I’m excited to participate, meet the members, and learn from the other presenters!
If you haven’t been to Utah, I highly recommend visiting. I lived there for many years before moving to Chicago in 2013. The mountains are breathtaking, and it’s such a peaceful, beautiful place. There are some restaurants on my itinerary, and I’m also planning to see friends and bask in consistent 55-degree weather this whole week. Follow @tangramlearning for the highlights.
Our session for this conference is called 5 Bold Moves to Reset Your Learning Strategy. It’s all about taking charge of your strategy. At Tangram we believe that calling L&D a “support function” is a total misnomer. You don’t just “support” the business — we need to stop saying that! You are a vital part of the business.
